Diljit Dosanjh opens AURA India Tour 2026 in Delhi; here are the highlights

Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his AURA India Tour 2026 with at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, launching the pan-India leg of a tour that has already travelled the world.
This was yet another sold-out stadium, like those he has performed at in Australia to Madison Square Garden in NYC and Wembley Stadium in London, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out the iconic venue.
Highlights from Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi performance
As Diljit took to the stage, he was welcomed by a roaring stadium of fans. Opening with ‘Morni’, he wasted no time in setting the energy soaring. What followed was a power-packed musical journey through some of his biggest hits and most-loved fan favourites. From ‘G.O.A.T.’, ‘Ikk Kudi’, ‘Lalkara’ and ‘Lover’ to ‘Case’, ‘Panjtaara’, ‘Hass Hass’, ‘Saanso Ki Mala’ and ‘Water’. These are songs that have soundtracked road trips, weddings and late-night playlists across the country, and tonight tens of thousands of voices handed them back to the man who made them. Whether fans had followed his music for years or were discovering the magic of his live performances for the first time, the connection was unmistakable.
Making its India debut, Aura brought the same signature sound, spectacular visuals and immersive production that have defined the tour on international stages. But the night’s defining moments were human ones. Diljit pulled fans onto the stage to dance and sing beside him, turning the biggest stage in the capital into a shared space. He also paused mid-show to thank the Delhi Police for their work in keeping the evening safe and seamless.
Bringing the evening to a spectacular close, a specially curated drone show lit up the night sky with a fitting message: ‘Panjabi Aa Gaye Oye!’ It was a celebration of Punjabi music, culture and pride and a powerful sign-off to a night that saw Delhi embrace the Aura in all its glory.
Beyond the stage, there were a series of fan experiences. A complimentary turban camp allowed attendees to have their turbans tied on site before entering the stadium, while curated food and beverage experiences ran across the venue through the evening.
With Delhi setting the tone, the tour now travels to Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29, and Lucknow on December 5 with Chandigarh and Kolkata show details to be announced soon.
